About Lamond . . .
Lamond Daniels is a public servant, strategist, and motivator who has spent over two decades building people-centered systems. As Norwalk’s Chief of Community Services, he oversees Health, Human Services, and the Public Library, serving 90,000+ residents and managing a $10M portfolio.
Lamond has led major national initiatives including Aetna Foundation’s Healthiest Cities & Counties Challenge and work with the Annie E. Casey Foundation — and held senior city roles in Bridgeport, CT. He has been recognized by Fairfield County’s “40 Under 40” and has taught Human Services for over 12 years.
A husband, father, and faith-rooted leader, Lamond is committed to integrity, impact, and inspiring the next generation. In 2023, he ran as a petitioning candidate in the Bridgeport mayoral election, earning over 1,800 votes and proving that people-powered leadership still resonates.
